Pamela Anderson is planning a "romantic" New Year's Eve with her ex-husband Tommy Lee.

The former 'Baywatch' actress - who has two sons, Brandon, 12, and 10-year-old Dylan, with the Motley Crue rocker - is looking forward to the pair's intimate celebration on December 31.

Pamela, who posted a naked magazine cover shot of her and Tommy, wrote on her official blog: "We are spending new years together in Montreal.

How romantic." Pamela moved back in with Tommy earlier this year and, despite describing them as an "old married couple",

she insisted they weren't having sex. She said: "We are living together but only because I'm homeless right now.

"So, yes, I'm homeless and living with my ex-husband. We're like an old married couple - we're living together but not having sex." Pammie and Tommy married in February 1995 in a beachside ceremony, after only knowing each other for 96 hours.

The pair divorced in 1998, after Tommy was arrested and charged with spousal abuse.

He was later sentenced to six months in jail. Since the divorce they have rekindled their relationship several times.

The former 'Baywatch' star has written an open letter to US President-elect Barack Obama, outlining ways to make the country better.

Pamela believes cultivating the illegal substance would "save children" and help the environment.

She wrote on her official blog: "I think we should legalise marijuana, tax and monitor - farm hemp etc. This would make our borders less corrupt and then I think eventually this will be a more secure option and save children in the long run - we should be able to farm hemp in America - it's just silly. It would create jobs and be good for the environment."

Pamela also controversially suggests anyone found guilty of molesting children or possessing child pornography, should be castrated for their crimes.

She continues: "Government must castrate every molester - potential molester - err on the safe side.

If any child pornography is found in anyone's possession, or anyone creating such atrocities, or if any child is brave enough to come forward (at any young age to bring attention to a potential molester - listen) they need to be taken very seriously and see that justice is served.

"The abuse is way worse than any trial could be - our children need more protection and justice seen. It needs to be PREVENTED not just punished.

The odds on Big Brother being axed from British screens have shortened after Australian TV chiefs pulled the plug on the reality TV show. Big Brother has been pulled from the Australian schedules by Network Ten seven years after it began there. The current series, which featured a surprise appearance from Pamela Anderson, will be the last when it ends later this month.

Former Baywatch star Anderson, 41, was flown into the house last week in an apparent attempt to revive the show's flagging ratings. Ten programming head David Mott said of the decision to axe the series: "After eight successful seasons and 1,316 episodes, Ten has announced that Big Brother will not be returning in 2009. We are immensely proud of the show and the incredible success it has enjoyed. We're ending the season on a high.

"Big Brother is the undisputed grand-daddy of modern, commercial reality television in Australia. Today's reality dramas have all, on some level, been inspired by Big Brother," he said. "The show has taken on topics of race, sex, homosexuality, eating disorders and alcohol abuse, many of which had been handled gingerly, if at all, on TV." Big Brother originated in the Netherlands in 1999 and the UK version launched on Channel 4 a year later. But viewing figures have averaged 3.3 million in the current ninth series, 5% down from the 3.6 million this time last year. Bookies have now slashed the odds for Big Brother to be axed in the UK following the ditching of the format in Australia from 16-1 to 8-1.

Pamela Anderson reportedly refused to act alongside a dog in her new film. The animal rights campaigner was upset when she discovered she would be starring alongside the canine in Superhero Movie, because the scene goes against Peta's guidelines for using real animals in movies.

A movie insider said: “Pamela left the set and went for a walk. She needed a time out. She was that upset.” In the scene, Pamela’s Invisible Girl character was required to call for her Invisible Dog, who only becomes visible as it is picked up by the busty blonde.

Even though director Craig Mazin worked around the actress’ refusal by piecing together some shots of the dog that were filmed when the actress wasn’t around, the scene failed to make the final cut. The Motion Picture Association of America’s Ratings Board disapproved of a bestiality joke in the scene which suggested the dog had been sexually satisfying a superhero professor.

Pamela Anderson's 10 Week Marriage Annulled

Pamela Anderson’s brief marriage to Rick Salomon has officially ended, according to documents filed in Superior Court in LA on Monday (March 24).

The ‘Baywatch’ star's ten-week marriage to Salomon was annulled, with court documents listing ‘fraud’ as the reason for the annulment. Salomon and Anderson, 40, got married on October 6 in Las Vegas. They separated on December 13.

Court papers entered on Friday (March 21) showed that Salomon agreed to a filing by Anderson in late February, requesting that the marriage be voided. Anderson has previously been married to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee – with whom she has two sons – and rocker Kid Rock. Rock and Anderson each filed for divorce in 2006 after less than four months of marriage.

Salomon, best known for making and then marketing a sex tape featuring himself with then-girlfriend Paris Hilton, was married to actress Shannen Doherty for nine months in 2002. Prior to that, Saloman was married and to actress Elizabeth Daily – who has been the voice of cartoon character ‘Tommy Pickles’ on the animated series ‘Rugrats’ for more than 15 years – from 1995 to 2000. Salomon and Daily have two daughters together, seven-year-old Hunter and five-year-old Tyson.

Celebrity friends Pamela Anderson and Geoff Courtnall have teamed up at plenty of charity events over the years. Now they're working together to develop a residential project on Anderson's grandparents' property in Ladysmith.

"It is something that Pamela is going to get very involved in - in the promotion and marketing of the project," Courtnall said yesterday. When news of plans for the 83-unit, condominium-townhouse development appeared on Anderson's website last year, 150 calls of interest poured in, he said.

Movie and television star, sex symbol and animal-rights advocate Anderson was raised in the historic community of close to 7,000, between Duncan and Nanaimo. Victoria native Geoff Courtnall coaches the Victoria Grizzlies, following a career as a professional hockey player with the National Hockey League. Their friendship is long-standing. "We have met over the years while I was playing hockey.... We have done different charity events together."

U.S. resident Anderson has returned to the Island to support charities. For example, she was a celebrity guest here in 2004 at the Courtnall Celebrity Classic golf tournament, aimed at raising funds for mental-health support. "She does a lot of charity events," Courtnall said. A development permit application from Anderson and Courtnall's company, Frontrow Developments, has been submitted to Ladysmith council for the five-acre waterfront site. A height variance is also required for the sloping property on the south side of the municipality.

The aim is to create an environmentally friendly development, Courtnall said. "We want to build a really nice quality project that we could be proud of."

About 60 citizens attended Saturday's open house in Ladysmith showcasing project plans, said Peter Laughlin, part-owner of Victoria's Wessex Project Management, development managers for the project. "We are going to be delivering an extremely high-quality product." Environmentally friendly features include a geothermal heat exchange system and pavement that is water-permeable, and a recirculating pond and stream to prevent heavy runoff, he said.

Anderson's grandparents operated a holiday cottage business on the site, which Anderson purchased a few years ago, he said. Along with 72 condominiums in three separate buildings, and 11 townhouses in three other buildings, plans call for moorage for up to 16 to 18 boats owned by development residents.

To minimize the building's footprint on the site, plans call for one seven-storey condo building, and two four-storey condo blocks. One of those four-storey blocks would be built into the bank on the waterfront, rising to just one level above ground, he said. The townhouses would be built in one- and two-level buildings.

The density proposed is less than is permitted under the current zoning, Laughlin said. "We have tried to leave large areas of green space and preserve as many trees as possible." If all goes smoothly, construction would start in the summer, with the build-out timeframe based on sales. The waterfront portion would be developed first, Laughlin said. Prices have not yet been determined for the units, which would range from about 1,200 to 1,500 square feet.

LOS ANGELES - Court documents show that Pamela Anderson is seeking an annulment, rather than a divorce, from husband Rick Salomon. The actress is seeking to annul the two-month marriage based on fraud. No other details were available, and Anderson's publicist did not immediately return an e-mail request for comment Tuesday.

In court papers filed in Los Angeles on Friday, Anderson asked the court not to award spousal support and to keep her and Salomon's income and property separate. On Monday, Anderson filed a request to have a retired judge handle the annulment proceedings — a common practice in celebrity split-ups as it keeps matters private and out of the court.

Anderson protests seal hunting in Paris

Pamela Anderson will deliver a letter from animal rights campaigner Brigitte Bardot to the Canadian ambassador in Paris to protest seal hunting.

The former Baywatch star was in the French capital on Valentine's Day to perform a series of burlesque strip shows at the famous Le Crazy Horse club.

And animal-lover Anderson used the opportunity to promote the protection of baby seals and to ask Canada to help prevent seal hunting in the Arctic region.
