She may be a former Baywatch babe, but Kid Rock says being married to Pamela Anderson was a “nightmare”.

The controversial singer said although the wedding was fun, married life did not live up to expectations.


“Getting married was a ball,” he told US entertainment show Extra. Being married sucked, it was horrid - that was a nightmare.”

Rock, real name Robert Ritchie, said he was not surprised that Pam had wed Rick Salomom so soon after divorcing him. “At this point in my life, nothing is really surprising,” he said.

Pam, 30, split from Rock in November last year, after less than four months of marriage. She then wed Salomon in Las Vegas in October.

Rock, 36, has not held back with his criticisms of the actress - but admits he was hurt by the split. “Of course you are hurt. Whenever you go through a divorce…and you are in love with another person you are hurt,” he said.

He added: “I just kind of remove myself from that whole world, have no part of it.
“The sad thing is there were kids involved… they don’t make as much sense of it as we do as adults.”

Since Anderson has been spotted out without her wedding ring, there have been rumors of trouble in the young marriage but the model insists she doesn’t wear her ring for ethical reasons.

When asked why she refuses to wear her ring, Anderson said “Haven’t they ever seen ‘Blood Diamond?’ All I need is Rick around my finger.”

Pamela Anderson has denied rumours her marriage is in trouble, insisting she doesn't wear a ring for moral reasons.

The former 'Baywatch' babe, who married old friend Rick Salomon in Las Vegas last month (06.10.07), won't wear any bling jewellery on her ring finger for ethical reasons.

Pamela - who married Rick in the hour break between her Las Vegas shows where she is performing as magician Hans Klok's assistant - said: "Haven't they ever seen 'Blood Diamond?' All I need is Rick around my finger."

'Blood Diamond', starring Leonardo DiCaprio, was a movie which highlighted the global problem of diamond trafficking.

Pamela celebrated Thanksgiving early last week (14.11.07), by hosting a turkey-free Thanksgiving dinner.

The 40-year-old star said: "The meatless meal was provided by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and Garden Protein International, a Canadian company that markets 'veggie turkey roast' and other meat substitutes."

No charge for Pamela Anderson's ex-husband Kid Rock

Actress Pamela Anderson's former husband Kid Rock will not face charges over a scuffle with her other ex-husband, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, at the MTV awards.
Kid Rock, 36, was alleged to have slapped and punched 45-year-old Tommy Lee at the recent event at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Tommy Lee was taken away from the ceremony, although Kid Rock was allowed to remain, however, neither of the musicians were taken into police custody, and Clark County district attorney David Roger later stated that Kid Rock will not face charges.

The scuffle was said to have taken place in the audience at the MTV Video Music Awards, on 9 September, and Kid Rock was cited for alleged "misdemeanour battery" by police, it has been reported.

Pamela Anderson was a presenter at the show at which both her past husbands were present.

Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson were divorced in February, only six months after the couple had wed.
