Pam Anderson and her dancing instincts

Pamela Anderson went to town in Paris on Valentine's Day. In a strip show at the famed Le Crazy Horse saloon, the prolific headline-grabber and rock star paramour sported a sheer black body stocking and made her stage bow on the back of a motorcycle in front of 500 enthusiastic fans.

"She was great," gushed an observer at the one-night-only performances. (She did two shows, and both were sold out, at about $300 a person.) "She was totally into it – it was impressive." In an homage to 1950s French sex kitten, and sister animal-rights activist, Brigitte Bardot, Ms. Anderson delivered a languorous dance number to Ms. Bardot's emblematic hit "Harley Davidson." Ms. Bardot sent her flowers and called to wish her well.)

Earlier in the day, at a PETA press conference, Ms. Anderson told People she was "a little bruised up from practicing on that motorcycle" but looked forward to the gig.
